We would like to share with you the thoughts of some of our parents

“I am so glad I chose St Peter’s for my little girl. As a 30th August baby, I was nervous about how she would settle but we had no problems and she is doing so well. It is such a nurturing place and feels like a village school in the middle of town! Even the head and deputy head knew her name within the first week, greeting us even now at the gates every day come rain or shine, and I feel so comfortable leaving her knowing she is so at home and cared for. She has loved her time there so far and is excited every day for what they have planned for her next. I have no doubt that this is the best start to her education that she could have had. Thank you St Peter’s!” (BH)

“St Peters is a fantastic school. It’s small and intimate and has some of the loveliest teachers. My daughter is thriving and I couldn’t recommend St Peters enough. My daughter loves going to St Peters every day.” (JH)

"St. Peters is a real gem! It’s a caring, nurturing environment with the loveliest of staff/teachers, who give so much attention to all the children."

"I was a nervous for my 4yr old bilingual daughter, starting school last year, but from the first days I realised that she is in the best possible hands! Year 1, now, she is thriving and simply adores her school!" (MM)

    School Streets
Dear Parents As you will have noticed there are newly installed signs and cameras on Holcombe Road in preparation for the introduction of Medway Council's School Street project. This will mean that as a parent of the school, you will be unable to drive into Holcombe Road between 8:25-9:00am & 3:00-3:30pm. The cameras use automated number plate recognition and if a vehicle drives into the road during these times then a fine will be issued by Medway Council. The council have not yet informed us of the start date of this project. We are also awaiting confirmation from the council to see if there are any exceptions, eg Blue badge holders. As soon as we have received further information from the council we will share it with you straight away. Kind regards

    Nativity Performance
Dear Parents We are very excited about our upcoming nativity performances and the children are looking forward to welcoming you into school to share this with you. Due to some children not being allowed to be photographed due to safeguarding reasons, we need to ask that no photographs are taken at the performance. We understand that this might be disappointing. However all children will have an individual photograph taken in their nativity costume and this will be sent home to you via Ping. We look forward to seeing you at the performance. Kind regards

For Winter time, here is our Severe Weather Procedures document:

About St Peter's Infants School

St Peter’s is a very friendly, supportive and nurturing school, where all members of the school community work as a team to make the time that the children spend with us positive and remembered fondly. We have high expectations for the children in our care, not only for academic success but in all aspects of their personal achievement. We firmly believe that children learn best and are most positive about their school experiences when they have high self-esteem, self worth and respect for others.

We aim to nurture the whole child and encourage them to work to the best of their ability in all aspects of school life - academically, socially and emotionally - thus equipping them to be valuable citizens of the future. St Peter’s aims to provide a broad, high quality education that helps the children develop into independent young people, able to apply their skills and knowledge to whatever lies ahead. We aim to develop in our children an enthusiasm for learning and positive attitudes that will enhance their self-esteem and that they will carry on with them into adulthood.

St. Peter’s has a strong philosophy of team work that is extended out to home. We seek to foster a strong home/school partnership that helps to build upon and consolidate the unique set of experiences that your child will bring to school.

We trust that you will find the information you require on our website and more.

St Peter’s is a GOOD School!

We are pleased to confirm that St Peter’s continues to be a GOOD school.

It reflects the care, commitment, dedication and hard work of everyone (staff, children, Parents, Governors) that makes St Peter’s the great and unique school that it is.

We are very proud of our school and are so pleased that Ofsted recognised the positive learning culture within it and that our pupils are well cared for and love to learn.

We continue to build on the work that is going on in school to further inprove outcomes for the children at St Peters.
