Meet the St Peter's Infants School Team

Head Teacher - Mrs. Curzon

Mrs Curzon

It is a privilege to work here at St. Peter’s Infant School where everyone believes in nurturing the children whilst helping them to achieve their academic potential.

What I really enjoy is seeing the children’s enthusiasm, zest for life, resilience, determination and their smiling faces – enough to make anyone’s day! I also enjoy playing the violin, travel and cheese and marmite!

Lion Cubs and Tiger Cubs

Mrs Smeed - Class Teacher

Mrs Howes - Teaching Assistant / Lunchtime Play Leader

Miss Norton - Class Teacher

I am Miss Norton. I have a cat called Binky who is a real trouble maker and a dog named Eddie who loves to chase his own tail.

I love to sing and  dance, especially when I am teaching. It is very rare to see me sitting still and quiet.

Miss Simpson - Teaching Assistant / Midday Meals Supervisor

Miss High - Class Teacher

Mrs Earle - Teaching Assistant / Midday Meals Supervisor

Mrs Hextall - Teaching Assistant / Midday Meals Supervisor

Miss Booker - Class Teacher

I have only worked at St Peter's Infants for a short while but it did not take long for me to settle into this friendly and supportive school.  I believe we learn by doing and so like to have lots of practical activities for children to enjoy.

I have three grown up children at home along with four dogs, lots of birds and a pond full of fish.

Mrs Barker - Teaching Assistant

Mrs Marsh - Teaching Assistant / Midday Meals Supervisor

I have been at St Peters for 14 years. I love working with the children. The more challenging the better as the results at the end are a reward in itself.

Mrs Kaur - Teaching Assistant

I am a mum of two and have always wanted the best for all children. I enjoy working in a school that communicates and supports each other, like a big family.

I have ten years of experience bringing up children and five years experience working with children. Importantly, I enjoy my work!

Mrs Worrall - Deputy Headteacher Class Teacher

Learning should be fun and engaging and you will always hear laughter coming from my classroom. I enjoy working with the fantastic team of staff at St Peter's - it's like a big, friendly family. I don't like eating chocolate but I love drinking tea!

Mrs Simone - Teaching Assistant

I love baking cakes and enjoy cooking with the children.

Inclusion Manager / SENDCO

Miss Newton (1 and a half days per week)

I love gardening and sometimes grow plants to use in the school grounds.

I believe learning should be lots of fun. I like jokes and I try to learn new ones to tell the children. I am also very interested in helping with fund raising towards the new entrance.

Additional Teaching & Classroom Support Staff

Miss Mason - HLTA

I have been working at St Peter's for a long time. I enjoy the after school clubs, especially Arts & Crafts as I enjoy making things.

I also enjoy singing and listening to music. I have two children and a cat called Maisie. I love Christmas time at St Peter's as we get to do lots of fun things including a lovely Christmas party!

Office & Support Staff

Miss Wildish - Secretary (4 days)

Mrs Cook - Secretary (1 & half days)

Miss Sims - Home School Support Worker (1 day)

As Home School Support Worker, my role is to develop positive home & school relationships, working closely with both families and school to help ensure that each child has the best opportunity to fulfil their potential.

As a single Mum of one, I want the best for my child and to know that support is at hand. Therefore I want to be able to give this service to the parents and children at St Peter's.

Mrs Chouglay - Midday Meal Supervisor

As a dinner lady at St Peter's I love talking to the children and playing games. It's a small, friendly school and you get to know all the children by name.
